Beau ends CWA season as number one in top ten.

Last meet of the year MAWRA meet in Virginia. Beau earns his SRA title with his 8 points earned going second both days over 40 plus entered. Tailor finished his ARX chamiopnship Saturday . Not bad year for the Licketysplits. Number one in top ten, and four ARX’s in 2011. And Beau going from Feb. ARX title to Nov. earning his SRA was awesome first full year running. Am very proud of my two 2005 boys Ace and Tailor who at almost six years old showed they can run. Daphne at almost nine years old is running strong. She finished Sunday’s meet running all four races. No filler,she wanted to run.

Rye is still maturing but i couldn’t pass up a local show for experience. She handled well and earned her first point. Plans are for her to start more regular showing next spring. My bloodlines come back together at three years old.

Beau raced undefeated to earn 8 NARX points. We were pleased with his wins against midwest “A” racers that had beaten him before. Saturday Ace was fifth in meet to earn 4 ARX points, Rye sixth in meet,earned the lower 2 ARX [points finishing her ARX championship. Sunday Ace was still racing his all time best. Earned another 4 ARX points to also finish his ARX championship. Two new ARX titles,and Beaus two meet wins was a huge weekend for us.We enjoyed seeing New Orleans and trying all the southern cajun foods. One more race meet in Virginia and CWA season will be over.

Beau keeps his points coming in. Meet wins both days for 8 more NARX points. He looked strong all weekend. The rest of my crew were just off the points with the heavy Cherche’ competion. Boy they improve every meet. Match results after racing Tailor was the man. Second on Saturday and first earning his second DPC leg on Sunday. He loves the ring.Wish he’d loved it before I neutered him. I love showing him. He just gives all he has. Rye his daughter was third place on Sundays match. Fitting father daughter lineup shows judges consistant in type choices.We had a great sunny weekend with great friends in Georgia. Thank you GRR club another great race meet weekend.

Beau and all my crew ran strong both days. Huge entry both days over 50 whippets the best of the best. Their were three races of “A” dogs starters alone. Beau made the “Top Ten” both days under tough competition. Rye just out of heat the day before the meet ran well held her own.Ace was my strong dog. He looked great both days. Tailor and Rye both made the Saturday match cuts . Am proud of my crew. We head to Georgia next weekend GRR CWA always has a great weekend of fun.

We are excited to be supporting the entry with our hounds. Still very new to us ,but the dogs have done well. Beau,Rye,Elsa,Ace and Tailor will be making the long drive to Milwaukee,Wi. Will post when we get back.Just want safe runs and alot of fun.

June 4-5th CWA in Georgia Beau Ties Ziggy for meet earning 2 NARX points,Rye runs great again gaining 3 ARX points,Sunday Beau is second in meet for 2NARX points,Rye again earns 3ARX points. She is running so consistant now.

July16-17th CWA in NJ Beau is second on Saturday to a speedy Ziggy. For 3NARX points.Rye earns 3ARX points . Sunday Beau again second in meet for 2NARX points. Hoping to finish either Tailor or Rye was not to be as Ace had a great day and earned the 3ARX points. At present my crew is Tailor 13 1/2,Rye 14, Ace 9,Elsa 6 ARX points. Proud of my dogs. They all love to race now.

CWA racing updates

We raced March 12-13 at GRR meet in Georgia.Results Beau meet winner both days (8 NARX points) and Ace was 3rd in meet for (4 ARX points). Next returned to GRR meet in April 23-24th Beau again meet winner both days for 8 NARX points. Tailor his father was third both days for 8 ARX points. Following week CWA in NJ Beau raced hard to earn meet wins both days for 10 NARX points over 35 whippets.Rye and Elsa were high scoring non ARX dogs in 4th-5th place earning their first ARX points. Rye 5 ARX,Elsa 3 ARX. Elsa returned Sunday to earn another 3 ARX points. My crew has ran well this year.Proving thenselves even at age 5 years old . Tailor presently needs two poinst to earn his ARX title. Elsa and Ace both have 6 ARX points.And Rye my little beginner now has 5 ARX points. at present Beau is ranked 1st in CWA with 35 NARX points and 8 meet wins.
